(Former) District Administrator Resigns

The following letter from Doug Schwartz, WGSD School Board President, was released shortly after a closed session school board meeting on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015.

We regret to inform the WGSD Staff and community that Superintendent Chris Joch has announced his resignation effective June 30, 2015.  His dedicated service to the District will be missed. We are thankful for his leadership that improved both the financial and instructional health of the district during his tenure. We wish him the best and know he will be an asset to any organization of which he is a part.

We are also appreciative that Chris will continue to work with us to ensure a successful second semester and conclusion to the 2014-15 school year.

The Board of Education will be meeting with a representative from WASB on February 9. 2015 to discuss its search process for Mr. Joch’s successor.

Doug Schwartz
WGSD Board of Education President
