Current WGSD School Board Vice President Ryan Koncki is seeking re-election to the school board. Stephen Levas, also a parent of WGSD students, has filed papers to fill the seat vacated by Heather Hodach.
Ryan Koncki is a professional firefighter, youth coach, husband, and father of three Waterford Graded School District students.
Stephen Levas has followed the WGSD School Board for many years and applied for the open seat when Jordan Karweik prematurely resigned his position on the school board. Ultimately, the board appointed Dawn Bleimehl who had recently completed her last term as WGSD Board President.
Like Ryan Koncki, many will know Stephen Levas from his years of volunteering as a youth coach for a variety of sports teams. Stephen’s wife, Megan, is currently the Co-President of the Evergreen Elementary PTO. Both Stephen and Megan are lifelong educators holding advanced degrees.
The Waterford community is fortunate to have passionate community members who are willing to step up and help keep our school board healthy. Both Ryan and Stephen understand that there are MANY issues that are important to running a school district successfully.
