One full day on the weekend. On school days, I work every day after school until 5:00 PM, some days 6:00 PM.

I worked a straight 12 hour day at school yesterday. If I calculate all the extra hours it takes to complete what needs to get done, it would be close to and extra 3-4 hours a day – so about 15 hours extra a week at least. I spend my lunch with students to make up work and accomplish leadership activities. I do not have a consistent plan period because it is also needed to make up work for students due to the nature of my job. I come to school on Saturdays or Sundays very often. My job is different than average due to the community involvement, so these extra hours are a necessity.

plus 15 hours. More around report card time. The GANAG lesson planning requires about an extra 3-5 hours of planning and writing. This is time I could spend looking up new activities, new lessons, but I’m too worn out from writing out plans that take up so much time.
