0-Some of them do not have education past high school, yet their perception is that they are an expert in all areas.
The board chooses to not understand the education system instead tries to treat it as the business world and does
nothing to fix their blunders. They appear to be out to punish all staff in the schools as evidenced by their actions in
the newspapers. As well as gossip of making the school year longer, having teachers work weekends and holidays.
The board has forgotten they are elected to represent the entire community not their own interests.

average – no idea what it is like to work where you can’t just get up and go to the restroom, or take a quick drink, or
not take anything home from work – we have to be prepared each day for the next lesson that changes daily and
hourly

0-they have no idea. They use their own ideas on what they think it should be. The school board may benefit greatly from having some open communication with the staff about specific concerns. This would have to be done in a non-threatening way, it would be interesting if the board members knew what was really going on in the school district or do they?
